Insight into Illustration at Vivoo Creative

For a few days this week I have been doing work experience here at Vivoo Creative in Nottingham for a few days and I have found it very interesting and sometimes quite fun. I think I have learned a lot more while I have been here as well.

Throughout the week I have been doing jobs for Luke and learning from him, mainly illustration art which is generally what I came here for, for example I have used Illustrator to create icons for one website that took me a few days but I managed to create around 27, 19 of which passed the requirments so I was very happy about that!

In the studio Luke asked me to research and design some vector art for a dummy project. I searched google for some insperation which took a lot longer than I thought and can become quite addictive! There is so many sites to get your creative juices flowing!!

Before I came here for work experience I didn’t know a huge amount about Illustration or much on the concept of things like Icon design. Throughout the week I have learnt quite a lot about what the workplace is like and I have learnt much more about Illustration and Vector Art. I even created my own Signatur Logo for some more practice with Illustrator.

Everyone in the studio has been really nice and answed any questions and given me help whenever I needed it. All in all I have enjoyed working at Vivoo Creative for a week and it has been a very useful experience.
